Due Diligence, Eagle Ford
PROBLEM:
As companies acquire property, the process of determining the actual value of said property, known as Due Diligence, becomes increasingly important. Clients come to Cinco Energy Services for our expertise in contract, title review, and land related risk assessment for all types of acquisitions.
METHOD:
Field Work:
Landmen provide courthouses research for the Due Diligence process when data is not available in the seller's files or online. Their research focuses on current record ownership and any liens, lawsuits, or other encumbrances which negatively affect the value of the properties.
In-House:
Landmen conduct a detailed review of the leases, contracts, title opinions, division orders, and accounting data provided by the client or designated appointee. This allows them to report if a given property has any substantive defects.
GIS:
The GIS team facilitates all stages of the Due Diligence process by providing spatial analysis, research, and database development for all wells, leases, units and pipeline being acquired. This information is in the form of digital maps that can be accessed through the client's computer.
SOLVING LAND:
Cinco Energy Services is able to swiftly identify any defects in the net revenue interest being sold that might prevent the client from receiving all the benefits that they are entitled to.
