Promotions in Cinco Corporate Headquarters

Along with the new hires Scott and Paul in the Rockies and Appalachia, we have some promotions in Houston! Congratulations to Kevin Johnson and Cameron Bettis for your official promotion to Project Managers.

Cameron Bettis, RPL, Landman

Mr. Bettis is a third generation landman, his grandfather having started his land career in 1938. After graduating from Texas A&M Mr. Bettis began working for brokers in the field running title, performing lease checks, and buying leases throughout South Texas. He joined Cinco Energy Services in 2010, and has since become a Project Manager focusing on the Rockies District.

Mr. Bettis mainly manages lease checks, lease acquisitions, and other related projects in the Western states. He enjoys the problem-solving aspects of landwork, as well as the ever-changing variety of tasks to be completed. Mr. Bettis also loves the historical and geographical nature of landwork and the ability it affords him to see different parts of the country. His attention to detail and ability to work well with others make him an excellent Project Manager. Mr. Bettis is a member of AAPL, HAPL, and DAPL.

Kevin Johnson, Landman

After graduating from high school Mr. Johnson joined the United States Marine Corps and served honorably as an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter. After four years of military service, Mr. Johnson began working as field landman for Cinco Energy Services. In his six years with Cinco Energy Services Mr. Johnson has held various titles, assisted in Renewable Energy efforts, managed large projects, and worked in numerous counties within Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. His greatest strengths are his attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast pace environment.

Mr. Johnson is currently an active member of the AAPL, HAPL, WHAPL, NHAPL, and PIOGA. He has served on the HAPL Skeet Shoot Committee for the last two years and is soon to begin distance learning toward obtaining a BA in Organizational Leadership.
